I offer singing and recorder lessons to pupils from Year 4, and for younger pupils I offer 'Foundation for Singing' lessons. In all kinds of lesson we explore music in all its variety; we learn notation, aural training, theory, and singing in different languages and genres. For singing pupils, most importantly, we focus on how to sing in a healthy way from the very start, establishing good vocal habits which will last. 

I assist and encourage pupils to take advantage of the opportunities for performing in concerts or assemblies at school, and when appropriate to work towards ABRSM Practical Singing/Recorder grades. I can also help with music scholarship preparation as pupils start applying for secondary schools.
